The celebrations took place between July 2nd and July 10th and included an anniversary ball, parade, special religious services, art exhibits, historical displays, fireworks, and more. Mayor Gill, City Councilors, and other male citizens grew beards for the celebration and became, "Brothers of the Brush." Each night of the celebrations a gigantic historical pageant was held on the high school football field depicting the "Wonderful World of Woburn."
