Admin/Biographical History John S. Hennessy was born in Waterford, Ireland around 1824 and came to the United States as a youth, living and working in West Cambridge (present day Arlington) for one year. He later drove a milk truck for Hial Nelson in Reading. He moved to Woburn in 1846 and worked as a laborer, living at the same residence on Flagg's Court for thirty-five years. He married and had two sons. He passed away on July 1, 1888.
Scope & Content Album of 50 cartes de visite photographs of Woburn citizens. All portraits are identified; some subjects have additional biographical information noted on the mounts that may have been added at a later time.
